      The ultimate purpose of this research was “Development of advanced disassembling technology that can cope with the demand for eco-friendly urban regeneration”.
      The specific target levels were set to “build a technology base that matches least 90% of the technologies of advanced countries, and possess disassembling technology” and “reduce the environmental impact caused by disassembling by 30%”.

  • Long life-span & Eco-friendly road pavement material, and Design & Construction technology development

      Development of analysis and design technology for road pavement in consideration of urban heat island reduction, and eco-friendliness
      Development of reinforcement technology that enables noise reduction while taking advantage of high durability of the concrete pavement
      Commercialization of Colored rapid hardening cement concrete pavement, and block pavement technologies which suits the urban aesthetic fabric, while miinimize maintenance works at bus lanes, main intersections, and etc.
      Commercialization of Highly durable and long life pavement for great reduction in of maintenance costs
      Commercialization of Snow damange prevention system which enhances the road safety, and durability of pavement in winter.
      Development of a base technology for establishment of an u-Transportation system that revolutionizes the practical use of pavement improvement measures for bridge joints with frequent early failure.

  • Establishment of Safety management network for major National infrastructure

Construction of a safety management network that can be linked to projects conducted by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation as a supervisory agency

  • Development of PSC bridge structure using integrated tension system of PS steel wire and bar

      This assignment aims to develop a core technology that could reduce the mold height of the existing PSC girder by 35% or more without increasing the construction cost by developing and applying the integrated tensioning technique of the PS steel wire and beam of the PSC girder bridge, and securing advanced national technology by commercializing the innovative new technology

  • Development of intelligent embankment/transport system using Telematics

      Establishment of a convergence between domestic IT, and Civil engineering technologies to secure the base for future construction technology; Utilize Construction IT to the Embankment tamping process, and construction sites, and futher apply this technology to develop a transportation management network system of embankment material
